Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Hi

I'm trying to create a form that will allow the user to e-mail their choice of departments.

I've tried to do this in a single form with a drop down for departments, but don't know how to link the contact to the following code

<select class="inputbox text_area required" id="Field_name" name="Field_name"><option value="Your Option">Your Option</option></select>

I also tried using category layout and putting all the contacts in a single category but this fails to work too. When you choose a contact the page is blank.

Please help!

I'm not sure that I understand what you need, however the category layout should work. At least I haven't had any complaint so far.

What is your website URL?

Here is the URL for the Category layout. You'll notice the "General Delivery" category has custom fields, one of which you can select "Deliver To:" which has options for different departments. (I would like it to work like this, if not that's ok)

If you select any other category, they are blank.

Edit: I think I got it now. If there's no e-mail address for the contact, the page is blank.

It seems to be working fine.

You want to use this "Deliver to" field to actually route the emails to different departments?
Well, this is not the way Contact Enhanced was designed to work;

I might study a way to accomplish this in future versions.

It's cool, I did away with the Deliver To: field. Category Layout will work just fine.
