Multiple Files Upload Form Field

Hello all,

At my test site www.bitsync.org/cosyjoes I am unable to upload any files on the "Loyalty Card" or "Careers" contact forms. The "Contact Us" form submits fine and so does Loyalty and Careers if I remove the file upload form fields. I am experiencing a number of problems:

1. Even with AJAX on OR off for any of the upload fields, the forms still show "Number of files left: 3", even though it is set at 1 and 2 respectively for Loyalty and Careers. I did set to 3 briefly when I first installed CE but now it never changes and ignores my value and always displays 3.

2. File size limit is set to 1500kb for both forms but it errors "santa.png. Error: File is too large" on Loyalty and Careers for even for a ~500kb file

3. File types are being ignored, they are set to "jpg,jpeg,png" for Loyalty and "jpg,jpeg,png,pdf,doc,docx,odf,txt" for the Careers, it always returns error "test document.txt. Error: File type not allowed."

I am using Joomla 3.6.5

The erros occurs on my Local Dev and Remote Dev machines that are running different flavours of Linux.

1. Which browsers have you tested? I have just tested using Chrome and it worked.

2 and 3. Can you please provide a screenshot or use the Support -> Contact Form to provide super administrator access, so I can take a closer look?

Hello Douglas, please see my screenshots, I tried chrome and firefox. I thought maybe it is a permissions issue. I can un-publish the form field but I cannot change any of the settings of the form field relating to file types, file size, total files, it just seems to have no effect.

There seems to be some sort of incompatibility with your template, because it seems to be working properly using Joomla core template Protostar:

It is also working properly when I load the component area only (using your template):
www.bitsync.org/cosyjoes/careers.html?tmpl=component

I've been investigating and I couldn't figure it out why this is happening. The only javascript difference I see is your template specific JS files:

Can you please ask your template developer to help us investigating this issue?

PS 1: There's an error in the browser's console related to the Google Maps API Key, which is now required and you can enter the API Key in the component Options under the Maps tab. There are some instructions there. Anyway, this console error isn't causing this Upload problem.
