Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Errors on contact page using contact enhanced form

Hello,

My contact page which has a Contact Enhanced form on it, is displaying a white page with these errors:

Warning: require_once(/home/content/14/7466514/html/components/com_contactenhanced/controller.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/14/7466514/html/components/com_contactenhanced/contactenhanced.php on line 8

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/content/14/7466514/html/components/com_contactenhanced/controller.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php5_4/lib/php') in /home/content/14/7466514/html/components/com_contactenhanced/contactenhanced.php on line 8

Any idea how to fix it? Thank you.

Dear corkcork,

That's strange.
The controller.php file mentioned in the error is either not readable or it was deleted. In either case it would probably be a good thing to investigate with your web hosting provider what might have happened.

Make sure the file permission is correct, if the file is not there you can either install CE again or just download the installation file and copy the missing file from the downloaded zip file to your server.

Make sure to create a backup before installing a newer version.
