Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Form Field not appearing after export/import of csv

6 years 7 months ago #23587 by karenbenhar
Joomla 3.7.5 CE 3.7.2 PHP 7.0

Hi,
I exported all form fields for a category and then on another site created a contact and category and imported the csv file. I received a successfully completed message and when I view the DB the fields are there but they do not show up when I select Form Fields from with the CE Joomla! component?
Attached is the ce_cf table fields.

Dear karenbenhar,

Are the fields assigned to the correct categories? Check the category id (catid) in order to make sure they match the categories in your current Joomla install.

Also, there's no such thing as attribute = 1, please delete the Attribute column value when it is 1.

Best regards,

Thanks Douglas, I managed to fix up the DB. After the import the catid has been added to the published field and the 1 from the published column was added to the attributes column. Could be a bug in the export/import program?

Anyway I've fixed it up using sql and all good now.

Kind regards,
Karen.
