Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Using Select Recipient as well as Contact Form recipient

Hi there

My application demands that I give visitors the choice of destination email recipient and so I use a Form Field set as a Select Recipient. This works but I understand that the selected recipient choice overrides the contact form's main email recipient. Is there a way to ensure that the CE form main recipient is ALSO in the recipient list.

Example, I use the form and check the "Send a Copy to my Email Address", should send THREE emails out:

1. CE Form main recipient
2. Selected Recepient from the Drop Down Chooser
3. Copy to Sender's email address.

Can this be made possible?

Dear Cris,

The purpose of Select Recipient Form Field is to replace the contact's email (recipient). What you can do is go to Components -> Contact Enhanced -> Contacts, edit your contact, then add one or more emails (separated by commas) in the Blind Copy field under the Contact Form tab. You can also choose to send a copy to an entire Joomla user group.
