SOCKET - Send Value instead of Text

I have a form socket integration that is working well, except for one thing: The socket is sending over the Text instead of the Value of my picklists.

In the other program I'm integrating with, I have to populate a field by a Record ID (a long string of characters). However, when I enable the socket debug feature, I see that the form is sending the 'Text' not the 'Value' of my picklists. This is confirmed by the other program.

Is there an option somewhere to send the 'value' instead of the 'text'? If so, I can't find it.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. What do you mean by "picklists"? Do you mean a Radio, Checkbox or select list?

Can you please provide a direct link to the form, so I can take a look?

Sorry! Each program calls them something different. lol. I think they are 'Select Lists' in CE.

I have just checked the source code and the Value and Text Fields of your Country Select List are identical, so I'm not sure what's the issue.

PS: Select is the official field's name in HTML.

They are except for 'United States'. I changed just the United States for testing purposes. I thought posting text field was fine, but now that I've been granted admin privileges to the other program, I see it is not. I need the value.

That's odd. The value is the same as the Text even for "United States". See screenshot:

Did you clean all caches?

I cleared Joomla & browser caches, but it's still not coming through. What am I missing? Does CE have it's own cache?
