Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

× Contact Enhanced is a contact component manager created to replace Joomla! core contacts component and add lots of advantages and new features (see Features ) and it offers many plugins and modules for several different purposes,

Multiple File Upload - how to show uploaded images in the email vs as links

5 years 1 month ago #24899 by webuyhomeskzn
Hello

When a user submits our form, the multiple images uploaded are shown in the admin email received as links to view / download.

How would we change this such that the images are shown directly as attachments in the email. Then it would be easy for admin to get an overview of the images - People are encouraged to load up to 20 images and clicking on each to view is laborious.

TIA
Howard

Dear Howard,

We've never had such a request. This will require a customization.
Please send us an email using the Support -> Contact Form and I'll quote this custom job for you.

Hi Douglas

A related question:
Is there a way to download all attachments at once? ... clicking on each one when each message may include 20 attachments is of course very time-consuming.

Thanks
Howard

Dear Howard,

We would need to create a few security measures if we were to allow people to download all attachments as zip files in order to block undesired access. It is possible, however I'll only implement this feature if it is absolutely necessary.

I have just replied to your college's email where I implemented an option which allows you to change the Max File size per email. Because it was set to 2Mb and know you can change it in the Component options under the Contact Form tab.

Best regards,
