Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Recaptcha not Submitting/ HTTPS

I have 2 issues that may be related, I'm not sure.

I have Recaptcha on the Contact Enhanced.

One issue is that people are clicking the "I am not a Robot" and then clicking submit after the checkmark appears, but the captcha is still processing so the email doesn't send. I have found if I wait 2 seconds after the checkmark appears and then try to send it works. I can't assume the user will do that.

Second issue is that Chrome(and a few other browsers) are blocking the email from being sent because it says "This page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources", and won't submit unless the user allows it. Problem is, it's just a little icon on the nav bar that no one notices. I've looked around on the internet and found a few people having issues with https and third party programs. I really need to have https active, how can I fix this and have it viewed as secure?

Lastly, all of these emails haven't been submitting but the users don't know that they aren't submitting because basically the page is just refreshing. Is there a way to notify the user that the email encountered an error?

1. I've been investigating a workaround, however it would require to add a Recaptcha callback. This could cause problems if other extensions would also might need to use a callback or on pages that a callback is not needed.
Have you tried to use the Invisible ReCaptcha plugin?

2. For years, Google has been actively seeking ways to encourage website owners to implement SSL certificates. SSL allows websites to be accessed over HTTPS, which encrypts information sent between the visitor and web server. Contact Enhanced is HTTPS compatible and all scripts loaded by Contact Enhanced are loaded via HTTPS or protocol independent (AKA protocol relative).
This might not be related to Contact Enhanced at all. Some scripts might include resources after page load. If you provide an URL I can take a look for you.

3. Contact Enhanced uses Joomla Messaging System to display messages (success, error, warning,...).
I recommend asking your template developer to take a look at this for you. Alternatively, you can read this article which explains how to add this to your template if needed.
