Multilingual Site - Broken Page Routing

Hello,

I have a multi-lingual site that has a Contact Enhanced contact directory.

The parent category is has a different link in the two languages (EN and FR)

example.com/staff
and
example.com/fr/personelle

These menu items are both associated with one another, so when you use the language switcher, the only thing that changes is the page title -- The output of the component remains the same (except the language file changes).
The contact entries themselves should be accessible through both language.

When you click on a contact in either language, the expected behaviour is this:

example.com/staff/01-john-smith
and
example.com/fr/personelle/01-john-smith

But instead, I am getting this:
example.com/personelle/01-john-smith
and
example.com/fr/personelle/01-john-smith

The component is sending the alias of the wrong language (personelle) even when you are attempting to access the contact from the correct page.

This is not a new bug, it seems to have been present for awhile.

Dear jdundas,

Contact Enhanced uses Joomla Categories and menu item system, therefore language association should work in Contact Enhanced just like in any other Joomla native component.

Did you associate Contact Enhanced categories and menu items as well?
