Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

× Contact Enhanced is a contact component manager created to replace Joomla! core contacts component and add lots of advantages and new features (see Features ) and it offers many plugins and modules for several different purposes,

Komir,

I believe you want to change the Subject field, not the template.

Edit the Subject Form Field and under the Subject Parameters tab set the Prefix to None or Custom Text.

Yes, that is correct. Thank you
Is it possible for some other field to be a subject, like, value users select from the "Select list" field?

You may enter multiple field values to the Subject Form Field, this way it will automatically transform it into a select list.

Hi, I am reopening this topic.
What about if I don't use the subject field, can I add custom text for the email subject?
For example, if some send that form email subject to be the same, like, "New message from the web page"

Sure, you can. Actually, we'll use the Subject Field either way but it will be hidden.
You'll need to add a Value to the Subject Filed and set it to hide in the filed parameters.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.
