Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

directory missing links after alpha bar is used.

Once I vist a contact, there seems to be an issue with the directory.

When I click on a letter in the alpha bar at the top, it opens a page listing all of the names as usual, but none of them are hyperlinked.
It's like a regular directory page, but you can't select a name to visit their contact page.

Click on any name, opening their contact information.

Then click on a letter in the Alpha Index at the top of the page.

It brings up the correct page but none of the names are hyperlinked.

Which Joomla version and Contact Enhanced versions are you using?

There's no Contact Enhanced subscription linked to your username "chankins". Did you subscribe using another account? If so, please contact us using the Support > Contact Form or post on the forum using that account.

Dear Charley,

Please make sure the Show Name is set to Show in the List Contacts in all Category menu items. It seems one of your menu items is set to Show without link. See screenshot:


Not necessary, but might be useful to you: When you set the ItemID in the Contact Enhanced Alpha Index Module Settings, all search results will load in the same page. See screenshot.


You will also need to create a Contact Enhanced Search Menu (might be hidden).

Let me know if the problem persists.
