It only occurs after one has selected a name.

Perhaps it is a problem with the Alpha Index.

The resulting page no longer shows "Position" and the names are not hyperlinked.

It appears to be showing a different form altogether.

When you click on the Alpha Index it is redirecting to the menu item "Faculty Staff Component for App". This is a top-level menu item, that's why Joomla is getting this menu item instead of the one you were the other one.

I didn't want to change your menu item options, but the best approach in my opinion would be to change the "Faculty Staff Component for App" menu item options.

Anyway, I've created a hidden menu type and a Contact Enhanced > Search Menu item named Contacts. Feel free to rename it as you wish.
I've changed the Alpha Index Set Itemid option to the newly created menu item.

If you want to just update the settings in "Faculty Staff Component for App" menu item, then you just need to delete the Contacts menu item I've created and update the Alpha Index Module.

The Alpha Index is linkable, but not working properly. For example, clicking on "F" brings up many names besides those beginning with "F".

Dear CH,

The problem is that you have two Contact Enhanced menu items with different configuration and when you click on the alpha index Joomla thinks you are using the second menu item instead of the first.

I can fix this issue for you, can you please provide administrator credentials again? I no longer have the credentials you sent to me. I usually delete the login information for safety reasons.
