Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Moving from an existing Joomla 3 to clean Joomla 4 website

Dear Michael,

It's fixed.

I'm not sure what caused the problem.

For future reference: I had to remove all references to Contact Enhanced Helper files from the update script, then I updated Contact Enhanced, reverted my changes to the update script, and updated it again.

I'll try to reproduce this issue locally later this week.

Thank you for fixing it, that saved me from the alternative. It all seems to operate well now. I do have my other primary site with the same template and setup. I will do that later since I still have to move data from the old template to the new one on this site. Hopefully, you find something for a future update or maybe it was just this particular site.

Well, I spoke too soon. I Removed the old Joomla template and its associated extensions and while I was in Joomla Site Modules, I clicked on make a new "Custom" module it went straight to that debug error screen that we saw before with a Class "Idealextensions\Component\Contactenhanced\Site\Helper\ObjectHelper" not found.

The Contact Enhanced menu still looks normal, but if you choose a menu option it goes to the same screen. If I go to the page on the front end with a contact-enhanced form, it fails.

I did not make any changes at all in anything in contact enhanced. Besides that, Joomla seems okay, and the rest of the settings. If I go to Site Modules and create any CE modules, it has messed up menu items as we saw on the main menu.

I was going to try reinstalling, but I deiced to leave it as is in case you want to do some forensics to track down the issue. I left your login active.

Can you please enable System Debug in Joomla's Global Configuration and let me know the call stack?
The call stack displays the server path, so for privacy reasons you can send it to via email.

I tried to use your email form today to send the call stack snapshots, but it will not retain the attachments. It says you have 3 files left, but never decrements or lists the attachments. These are standard JPG pictures.

I'm not sure what happened. I installed Contact Enhanced Package again on your site and it's working again.
