Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Since I am on a roll, I have a couple of requests (not deal breakers by any stretch)
  1. Any way of adding to the map params a setting for default map zoom?
  2. Any way of adding to the general params a setting for default Access?

Dear randlieb,

1. I have implemented it for you and it will be in the next release. I'll send it to your email in a few minutes.

2. We try to use Joomla framework as much as possible creating an option to set a default Access is something that would require a lot of customization in the code and make it harder to maintain in the long run, therefore we won't implement it. I hope you understand.

In case I didn't explain the second request clearly. My thought was to have the option to be able to set the Access dropdown menu, in the create contact form for the frontend, to the desired level. My use of your component for this one area on my site is for all users/members to have the same access level for viewing all the contacts. Is that the same as you are explaining? Just a small thing and may only be useful to my particular site. Sorry if I am not making any sense.

I set the default map zoom at 10 but it still shows 15 in the front end, in the contact's profile page and on the edit form and create contact form.

I had forgotten to implement this in the front-end as well.

I'll send a couple files to your email address in a couple minutes. After you upload when you click on the Locate in Map it will automatically change the zoom to it's default value.
