Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Validate emails with . before @ (gmail addresses)

Is it possible to change the email validation to accept emails that have a "." (period) before the @ sign? I know gmail allows addresses like this, such as first.lastname@gmail.com

I know you can alternatively not use the "." but some people may think that it is required to be used in their email, so maybe the validation can be modified to compensate for this.

Just a suggestion. The module works very nicely.

I have just tested and Ajax Contact does accept emails in this format: first.lastname@gmail.com.

Are you using the latest Ajax Contact version? Which Joomla version are you using?

Hmm, it does look to be working. I had a client report this and thought I tested it beforehand.

Must have been something else they were typing in wrong. Sorry about that, looks to be working fine. Top notch support too :)
