Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

problems after server move

Hi

I have ajax contact installed at www.res-renewableenergysystems.co.uk/index.php/contact and as you can see the captcha image will not show. Also if you turn the captcha off the form says it has submitted, but it does not send the email.
I have the site installed on another server i was using during testing, and all seemed to be fine. Any ideas?

Dear RossMc,

You might have two different problems:

1 - Captcha: The GD library might be missing. Please set the Error Reporting to Maximum in Joomla Global Configuration under the Server tab and let me know if you see any error.

2 - Email: Your server might require SMTP Authentication. Please read this article (specially item #5):
idealextensions.com/joomla-ext...emails-are-not-being-sent.html

Hi Douglas

I have been trying to find something to give you to go on, but I have had no luck sorry!

When I turn the error reporting to maximum it shows no errors, and when I follow the article on SMTP authentication the only difference it makes is the form will not submit at all (the icon keeps spinning).

It may simple be some silly small error on my part somewhere, but as I have the site installed on another server I was using during testing, and all seemed to be fine. Is it possible the problem is due to different sever configuration?

Yes, there might be a server configuration. After a closer look I found out that this URL is forbidden:
www.res-renewableenergysystems...ha_systems/securImage/show.php

Can you please ask your web hosting company to take a look into that?
