Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Issue with confirmation message on Ajax Contact Form

Hi Folks:

After sending, I am always getting the following message:

Wrong validation code!
Your web browser does not support JavaScript or it is disabled!
You will be redirected now

No matter the PC from where I'm working (I've tried from 3 different PC), it's alway the same.

Then, the windows does not redirect any where, and everytime it tries to redirec, it send another mail to recipient.

Joomla: 1.7
Php: 5.2.17
Ajax Contact: 1.6.1

Dear Javier,

This looks like a Javascript incompatibility. Please read this article for CE, which also applies to Ajax Contact:

You can test it with another template, in order to make sure it is not template related, but your template uses Superfish menu which uses jQuery and I believe it is related to it. Can you contact your template developer in order to make it compatible with MooTools?

After talking with template's developer, I realized that I have an slide show module already installed with Mootools.

Do I have any solution?

Dear Javier,

I've just tested and it is working. The only problem is with the spinner not showing up, so you probably keep pressing the send button.
Open:
www.24x7asesores.es/modules/mod_ajaxcontact/css/ajaxcontact.css
find:
#ajaxcontact div.ajax-loading {
  background: url("../images/spinner.gif") no-repeat scroll center center transparent;
  padding: 28px 0;
}
and replace with:
#ajaxcontact div.ajax-loading {
  background: url("../images/spinner.gif") no-repeat scroll center center transparent;
  padding: 28px 0 !important;
}

Indeed, it works but just with Mozilla. It does not work with IE.

I'm really lost at this point. Any idea?

I'm not sure why it is not working in your Joomla installation.

What was done to fix this issue. I am having a similar problem that gives me this error.

I don'ty know what was done, but whatever it was done I have already included in the latest fix. That's why I don't usually add files to the forum.

Are you using the latest versions (Ajax Contact and Joomla)?
