Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Ajax Contact not sending email in Chrome/Mac OS

Hello,

We´re experiencing problems when using Ajax Contact in Mac OS 10.5.8 with Chrome 14.0.835.

The form loads ok and the JS validation works perfectly, but when clicking "Send", neither the Security question (Mathguard) is checked nor the mail is sent. The "loading" image appears, but it stays forever and no message is shown (error or success).

However it works perfectly in every other browser we´ve checked! (Mac: Firefox , Safari, Opera and Windows: IE8, Chrome, Firefox).

Could you please help us with this?

Hello Douglas!

Yes, it´s quite strange. We´ve checked it and Chrome is updated to the latest version available (14.0.835). Looking at AJAX contact change log we are also using the latest version of the module (1.5.7.6)?

Maybe something in the JS?

You are running a very old version which makes it hard for me to debug.
Please upgrade it to 1.5.8.4. This might have been already solved.
