Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Dear Dealio,

I've added that error message because some people by mistake did not add an email custom field type;

Please open [Path to Joomla]/modules/mod_ajaxcontact/ajax.php
Find:
$email		= (ajaxContact::getVar('email'));
and replace with:
$email		= (ajaxContact::getVar('email',$config->getValue('config.mailfrom')));

Best regards,

Hi,

I have a conflict with JQuery and so I've disable the ajax-functionality...

Although I've an email-field, I get the message "There is no Email...".

I've changed the code... now I get the message, if the email field is blank.

Another issue: sender lastname is missing in the Email.

Thanks and regards,

Sid

Dear hutdji,

Why don't you fix the jQuery problem first?
Usually it is not very hard to fix. Please read this article:
ideal.fok.com.br/joomla-extens...avascript-incompatibility.html

This way you will avoid other problems related to jQuery in the future.

Thanks a lot for the tip with jQuery, Douglas! Now it works with ajax...

But there is still the issue with the "from" in the email: only the "name" field is shown, but the "last name" is missing. An idea?

Thanks and best regards,

Sid
