Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Hello,

1)
we have a lot of different eMail addresses embedded in our articles.
Most of them do not have corresponding contacts.

I would like to use this plugin also for these eMail addresses, where no contact exists.

2)
Also it seems as if it is only possible to globally provide one contact to be linked with mailto links.
Unfortunately, that's not what I was looking for...

Can you help me getting this done?

Dear Sascha,

It is required to link to a contact because CE needs to know which fields to display.
What I usually recommend the users is to create a category and a contact, then link the contact to the Mailto2CE plugin.

IN the Contact Option you can hide the contact options that you do not want to display.

I hope it is clear how to do that.

As far as I understand, this means each mailto link crawled by the plugin gets substituted by a link to the same contact form?

I think that's not that useful, is it?

Dear Sascha,

The link directs to the same contact form, however because it is a dynamic page it gets the email address from that email link and the email is sent to the email address in the link and not to the email address in that CE Contact.

Feel free to test it.
