Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Dear Garek,

Which Joomla and Contact Enhanced versions are you using?

This issue was fixed a long time ago. Please make sure to upgrade if you are using an older version. You can download the latest version from the link below if you have a valid license:

If upgrading will fix it, I will be happy to. But I'm worried about losing all contacts and custom fields already set up. Will I?

Also, the form is requiring all fields to be filled, but even if you fill out every field, it won't process. Upgrading should fix this too right?

Dear Garek,

The contacts and custom fields will not be removed when you upgrade.

Please keep in mind that there is no need to uninstall the old version and that backup is your best friend! ;-) I've worked a lot to make the update process very easy and safe, but accidents do happen, therefore I always advise to make a FULL backup first;

Let me know if the problem persists after the upgrade.

Best regards,

They are currently using Joomla 1.6, they will need to upgrade to 2.5 to use your update right?

Dear Garek,

It is better if you use the latest version of Joomla and Contact Enhanced. Joomla 1.6 is no longer supported by Joomla developers and might have bugs and security breaches.
