Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

iRecommend won't send if cache is not emptied

I just noticed, that my iRecommend seemed to stop working. When I fill in the form and click on the send button, instead of the thank you page I get a blank page (that is an overlay with a blank rectangle...)

Enabling error reporting gave no clue and when I set it to "development" I get lots of warnings, but I don't think that's the cause as these are jus "strict" warnings... . (I attached the a textfile with the warnings)

The component words fine when I empty Joomla's cache but when I return after some time it stopped working.
I'm on J! 2.5.17 (where can I see the version number of iRecommend)
Any ideas, why it behaves so strange?

iRecoomend v. 3.3.1, J! v. 3.4.1, PHP 5.4

Dear Markus,

I have sent you a file to your email address that disables cache for iRecommend and I'll include this feature in the next version.

Best regards,
