Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Component styling

12 years 1 month ago #10465 by ziv
Hello again :) since you're so helpful I'd also like to make a suggestion about styling. Since my language is hebrew its RTL language. So I needed to style the component to be RTL. The table heading in the component's has an inline styling "text-align:left". That's not the first time I encounter this similar way of coding, now mostly it won't matter but in my case it matters alot. So I need to delete it from the file itself or use "!important" set in my css. I dont think it is such a good practice and the better way would be not to use inline styling at all and use css so it can be conveniently changed when needed.

Thanks

Dear Ziv,

I have already changed in the source code.

This is how it is done in all my other extensions. The Name Meaning is one of the oldest extension I have and probably the inline styling for alignment was inherited from Joomla 1.0.

All the best,
