Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Dear dh12355,

iFAQ was designed to work with Joomla Content Articles, this way you can use your current articles database to display your FAQs or any other content type.

If you don't have a the FAQ content in Joomla Content Articles, then you need to create a category or your FAQs and add a different content article for each one of the FAQs.
Then you can either display the FAQs as a menu item or add to an article using the plugin.

For Content Plugin instructions, please read:

For more information read:

If you have any further question, please do not hesitate to ask.

Dear dh12355,

No. MooFAQ is the old version and no longer supported. It is also included in the download zip file because some users are still using outdated Joomla versions.

Greetings,

I believe you have added the {ifaq} syntax inside those articles, that's why they are not displaying. You cannot have one iFAQ inside another. If you do have the {ifaq} tag inside those article you want to display as an faq item, them remove the {ifaq} tag and it will correctly display the articles.

I see it is working properly if we use another category:
hellasphone.mybestfinder.com/i...n=com_ifaq&view=category&id=11

Dear dh12355,

I see. that's because you have added a Categories menu item not a Category menu item.

When you add an iFAQ Categories menu item type you must add a category with children categories.

Just change the menu type to iFAQ -> Category and it will work correctly.

All the best,
