Are you using the latest MooFAQ version?
Please go to Joomla Global Configuration and set Error Reporting to Maximum, then you should get a PHP error instead of a blank window. Please let me know this error, so I can try to find out the problem;

After I received the error, I went to phpmyadmin, and tried to delete all records referring to moofaq from: extensions, modules, and the menu table (the menu table delete was recommended in your other post)
I tried the install again, and got the same error:
Component Install: DB function reports no errors
Package Install: There was an error installing an extension: com_moofaq.zip
Error installing package
I see com_moofaq in my component list, but when I click on it I just get a blank screen.
I have been installing other components without a problem, so I think my permissions should be fine.
please help!
