I couldn't reproduce the same issue locally. I'll create a new package and send it to you, just to make sure I haven't added any undocumented change.

The search works now. But after one search you can't do another, because it shows always the same results (from the first search) until the cache is cleared.

thank you for the quick update. But now I have the problem that the search module of iFAQ doesn't work anymore. It neither meets article with the keyword, nor it consider the excludes categories in the module
