Okay, got some help from the RT team.. they are great people also.. And here is what we have. It is almost working...
As you can see, there is now a background! silly thing that "!important".

Now to just remove the styling of the titles that is putting the dark line above only the text.
I hope this can help others out as well! If we figure out how to remove that line, I will post up the fix for that also here.

Okay, I will try that tomorrow...err.. today. I need some sleep though. I have been working on this darned template since thursday and no sleep minus a nap on sunday.

Dear Sarrene,
What you can do is add a prefix to all title calls like rt-title and change your css file accordingly.

Well, nothing there that I tried had worked. Is it possible to change the class in this template? or would that mess up the whole call to titles?
I am posting on rt as well, and if they can help, I will post up the fix here also if you nor anyone else has any ideas or thoughts.

Aye, I was afraid that the template was over riding this.
Well, the image is still not present.. or at least where I would like it to be .. However it did change the background colour for me.
Thoughts on how to go about this? I am going to try to mess with the template a wee bit. If i change or remove this from the reactions template css, and php files.. this should start working on the faq?
I am still learning. So thank you for being patient with me.

Your template is overriding the pane.css file. Take a look at this line:
You can try this:
If it does not work, you might have to change your template. The title class is used by Joomla and your template should not use it.
