I've just tried JA_Purity and the FAQ works perfectly.

You said that MooTools loads it's own version instead of the build in one. Is there a way to make it use it's build in version? Well ofcourse there is a way, but I've tried everything I could think of so I hope you can help me. I don't know for sure but I think it will solve the problem, because I've read about similair problems and everything directs to MooTools.

Btw as an intern, this is also my schoolproject, so I don't have time to begin from the start, because I have a limit amount of hours and I don't know how long it will take to start all over from scratch. I think I won't make it in time that way.

Thanks in advance!

Dear Kimball,

If you want to learn the template how to make a template I suggest you to modify a JA_Purity template, the one that comes with Joomla.
You can also visit this tutorial:
docs.joomla.org/Joomla!_1.5_Template_Tutorials_Project

Please test MooFAQ using the JA_Purity, and let me know if it works.

Kind regards,

Douglas, thank you for your reply!

I have created this template based on a template I got from a colleague. I got this so I could find out how a template works and so I could find out things by myself rather than he explaining me everything from nothing. This is actually a very effective way, but still I don't know what code exactly has to be in a template.
As I said before I'am new to joomla and I'm also not a scripter. I can't write PHP or java. Could you try to explain me what i have to do? It would help me a lot!

Thanks in advance! :)

Dear Kimball,

Welcome to Joomla! ;-)

Have you created this template?

This template needs a lot of work.
First of all, i tis loading it's own version of MooTools instead of using Joomla's built in version;
It does not uses Joomla framework in order to add the header, which includes Javascript and CSS files.

If you've developed this template you can take a look at this tutorial (see link bellow), otherwise, please contact the template developer;
docs.joomla.org/Joomla!_1.5_Template_Tutorials_Project

If you have any other question, please do not hesitate to ask.

Best regards.
