Well, MooFAQ 1.5.5 was released over 5 months ago and I've changed that in MooFAQ 1.5.5.1, which was released on June 3rd.
Please download the latest version from here:
ideal.fok.com.br/purchase-and-download-e...s.html?tpl=purchases
Also, please remember that there is no need to uninstall the old version and that backup is your best friend!

Its the 1.5.5 version with Joomla 1.5.17.
Indeed perhaps its my install as now I look into it when I go to the MooFAQs component I have two Parameter icons? I did upgrade to 1.5.5 on this site so perhaps something didn't quite work on the upgrade?
I might see about uninstalling it and trying again, but will be difficult with a production site.
Thanks
Rich

Are you using the latest MooFAQ version?
Which view are you using in the MooFAQ plugin (Category, Categories or Search)?
The Joomla version should not matter, but it is always good to run the latest version!
Sincere regards,

Unfortunately whatever order I put them in unde the Article manager they always appear by newest ID first.
For some reason it seems to ignore the article manage Ordering?
I've trying clearing the cache and SEF cache but it seems to make no difference?
Appreciate any other thoughts on this.
Thanks

By default it first order items by ordering then by created date. Keep in mind that when you add a new item it goes to the top of the (ordered) list. So you have to manually rearrange the ordering;
It will get these information from Joomla Content Manager.
