Thanks Douglas,
Do I need to purchase it again in order to download the updated component?

Dear jdyach,

I've just created this feature for you and romias. Download the latest version from ideal.fok.com.br/purchase-and-download-e...s.html?tpl=purchases and install it (there is no need to uninstall the old version);
Then just append the open variable to the URL.

Example:
- Using SEF: yoursite.com/path/to/moofaq.html?open=2 OR
- Not using SEF: yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_moofaq&view=category&id=10&open=2;

The example above will open the second slider.

IMPORTANT: This option only works with Custom Slider.
Go to Components -> MooFAQ: Options (button) and under the Slider tab, set Slider Type to Custom.

Best regards,

Dear Matías,

I've added this feature request to my todo list, however it will take at least another 2 or 3 months until I have time to implement it. I'm currently focused on upgrading my extensions to Joomla 1.6. Actually I'm rewriting most of them in order to take most advantage of the new framework.

All the best

Have a great weekend,

Thanks Douglas... It should work... I'm going to test it as the website is multilanguage with Joomfish, and the link is already translated (I should get the correct link for each language and this is not so good in case of something changes). But yours is a nice workaround anyway.

I think that adding an ID or anchor to each "li" (as you do with the style moofaq-panel-105) using the article ID... you could add an option in the menu to "FAQ Item". If you add anchors, then all what the user should do is add the "#id" to the URL.

Regards
Matías

Dear Romias,

Currently there is no way to open the FAQ in a specific article, so what I usually do is link to the article, by enabling the parameter "Linked Titles" and copying the links using the mouse right click in the FAQ Title.

I hope that's clear enough.

Sincerely,
