Support Forum

Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Show module or module-position instead of articles?

7 years 10 months ago #21469 by pepperstreet
Hello, maybe a dumb question... but I could not find some info for my special usage and idea. I know the product is primarily for articles. Also found custom code options. But I am not sure if this would work for "modules" or "positions"? Probably by inserting the necessary J! PHP code for rendering...

What about some parameters, where one can select the "mode" (show module / position)
Then a combo-input like "chosen" allows to select the module or enter a position name?

Possible?

Dear pepperstreet,

The Custom code is for Javascript and HTML code, not PHP.
If you want to show a module inside an article it is much simpler to use Joomla core Load Position plugin. Just use the syntax:
{loadposition position_name }
Just change position_name with the module position you want to load.

Hi,

This is something that I would be interested in too - the ability to use the {loadposition...} command in custom code. Is this a customisation you can do? Thanks.

Hi,

I've just tried sending a private message to you, but I'm getting a "HTTP/1.1 403 FORBIDDEN" message. Could you contact me via the email address I used to register? Many thanks.
