Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

I can't get the locations shown.

Is there a step by step guide that I can use?

Dear 73Orange,

It is usually very straight forward.
1- Edit or make a copy of the example CSV file in /plugins/system/istorelocator/data/Germany-CastleFortSchlossRuins.csv keeping the first row, which are the column names;
2- Rename the file and save it using UTF-8 encoding. It is usually the default encoding, however if you use Microsoft Excel it might be different. We usually recommend using OpenOffice Calc.
3- Go to Extensions -> Plugins, edit the Ideal Store Locator plugin and under the Location list tab set the Source to CSV, then choose the new file you've created;
4- Add your preferred {istorelocator } syntax to an article and it should work without problems.
