Dear dh12355,
iFAQ was designed to work with Joomla Content Articles, this way you can use your current articles database to display your FAQs or any other content type.
If you don't have a the FAQ content in Joomla Content Articles, then you need to create a category or your FAQs and add a different content article for each one of the FAQs.
Then you can either display the FAQs as a menu item or add to an article using the plugin.
