I ended up using a menu item for my FAQ because there is no option for sorting by title name when using the article method.

I have just installed moofaq and have the same issue.

A single category will work but when you specify a section you get a 404.

This is the code it's trying to use tht gives the 404;

{moofaq view=|categories| id=|5| showtitle=|0| showdesc=|0| }

I found the error.

If you use:

{moofaq view=|category| id=|1| showtitle=|0| showdesc=|0| }

Everything is okay.

But if you use this:

{moofaq view=|categories| id=|1| showtitle=|0| showdesc=|0| }

Then I get a error 404

I think your plug-in has some error!
