That's odd.
How did you add MooFAQ?
Can you provide an URL so I can take a look at it?
It is almost Sabbath here in Brazil, can you create a MooFAQ -> category menu and use it like that until Sunday?

If you are using only a category view in the plugin and you don't use the parameters to link titles, then you don't need to create a menu item (entry).
You also can create a MooFAQ Categories or MooFAQ Category menu item in a hidden Menu Type or any Menu type that is not used by your template.
