That's probably because there is either no categories under that category or the categories or article access is set to registered or special;

When I choosing the multiple categories layout, only menu name will show.

When the menu is created it will load correctly, the link you sent is not linked to a menu item. Try this:

I don't know why you didn't see the articles... Anyway, I have conluded that it is the menu in the template that causes the problems. I will have to get my developer to take a look at the problem, and hope he will find a solution so I can use this component.
BUT, I have a second problem as well. I am not able to make the section and category descriptions to show. I have published information in the section and category manager, as I normally would have done.
