I too am having a problem with the first article opening automatically. I tried the custom -beta slider type and I am having similar problems as others. The custom slider problems are:
- Last article does not open
- The Expand All and Collapse All links do not work
- After the first article, the remainder of the articles are displaying incorrectly. Click on a topic and the one below displays with the wrong text.
- Page displays the following message at the bottom of the browser page: Done, but with errors on the page.
I have attached the errors associated with the page.
Here is my configuration:
- Internet Explorer 8
- Joomla 1.5.14]
- Rocket Theme: SolarSentinel
- Editor: JCE 154
- Page on the beta site where error is occuring: www.ffumc.org/ffumc2010/about-us/beliefs-and-values.html
I hope this all helps with the debugging. If you need any more information please let me know.
Also, you may want to take a poll to find out how many people want the first article to opened automatically. I think you would be surprised to find out how many want it to stay closed.
Thanks,
Todd

Btw, I tried with multiple categories and the categories did appear but unfortunately, the first article is expanded which is not what I want.
Is there anyway to collapse it like single categories..
