This document provides an overview of the dashboard of the "Ideal Podcasts" component for Joomla. The dashboard is the main interface for managing your podcasts, episodes, categories, and settings. It also displays useful statistics and information about your podcasting activity.
The dashboard consists of four main sections: Toolbar, and Main Area.
Toolbar
The toolbar is located at the top of the dashboard. It contains buttons for performing common tasks, such as adding a new episode or viewing all existing episodes, adding a new participant (host or guest) or viewing all existing participants, adding a new category or viewing all existing categories, and accessing the options. Each category will have its own RSS feed, therefore it can also be configured to be a separate podcast entirely The toolbar also shows the name of the component and the current view. The buttons also display the number of published items for each feature: Episodes, Participants, and Categories.
Main Area
The main area is located below the top bar. It displays the content of the current view, such as a list of the latest episodes, their categories, and the number of page views. It also displays the popular participants, and the number of episodes the participant took part in, the main RSS feed, and the links to the Guided Tours. You can use the main area to view and edit the episodes and participants.
