Dear BMT,

That seems to be a Joomla bug that happens to some components for an unknown reason to me. There is a fix in the Joomla Forum, follow the link below:

After you run that script you have to install MooFAQ again.

If that does not work, you can simply access /administrator/index.php?option=com_moofaq You only need to access that page in order to change MooFAQ default configuration values, which can be overridden in the MooFAQ Menu Items.

Hi Douglas

I could install MooFAQ now but the AdminMenu Link is missing... i tried to uninstall and reinstall but still the same...

can you pls tell me how i can manualy links the component or give me another soluiton?

Dear BMT,

The file com_moofaq_1.5,... is for Joomla 1.5.
You have to install pkg_moofaq_2.5,.... into Joomla 2.5.

Hi Douglas

I've exaclty the same problem - just purchased MooFAQ now and i received 2 files (com_moofaq_1.5.6.1__120113_0000 / pkg_moofaq_2.5.3__20120607_1940) and i'm not able to install them unter joomla 2.5

can you pls send me the versions for joomla 2.5?

I have the same Problem with my Installation... Do you have an other installation package, you can send me, or do I have to use it without the menu?

Maybe its a problem with language, because the other user used also a german Joomla Version.
