For Joomla 1.7 you should install pkg_moofaq_1.7__20110829_1502_build_02.zip.
Which error do you get when you try to install this package?
It hasn't been translated to German yet, but the translation is simple and fast because it is a very small file.
After installation just copy the file:
[Path to Joomla]/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_moofaq.ini
to
[Path to Joomla]/language/de-DE/de-DE.com_moofaq.ini
then translate it to German.
Once you have it translated, please send the file to me so I can include in the package.
All the best,

When you've purchased MooFAQ you should have received two packages. One for Joomla 1.5 and another for Joomla 1.6+.
It seems you've installed the 1.5 version on your Joomla 1.7.
All you have to do right now is install the correct file.
If you have any further question please let me know to me as soon as possible, so I can reply before the weekend.
I'm a Seventh Day Baptist, therefore I don't work on Saturdays (the Holy Sabbath); I hope you understand;
