The site is in a subdomain. Even after running database and temp folder configs in Akkeba AdminTools, I get

Without the call stack, it's hard to know what might have caused this error, but I'm glad it's solved.

After changing the session handler in configuration php I reinstalled (and with all ce tables removed) a reinstallation was smooth. n errors.

There are only three contacts, and all the messages for the last ten years have been delivered to their business mailboxes - plus I have an archive of the previous site so no mail was lost. Having removed 32 other components entirely, which will be replaced with something new in half of those instances, this is a minor blip on the radar screen of life.

As soon as i turned debug, something called redis simply shut everything down.
