Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Contact form auto populating information in fields

Newbsih question:

I have the contact form up and running on my site.

When I click on my "contact us" page I have for the form, the page opens and the contact details for the only entry I have in the "contacts" menu of CEM auto populate the "Enter your Name *: " field and the e-mail address I have populates the "E-mail address *: " field.

Is this auto-populating the field because I am logged into my site as this user?

I DO NOT want my users visiting my site to be confused by the "name" and "e-mail" fields populated with the information I have in the "contact" menu of the CEM manager... they need to enter their own name and e-mail address......

What am I missing? :unsure:

Dear Mathias,

It will always populates with the logged in user's information.
This is a feature that we implemented in order prevent users to enter a wrong email address by mistake; You got your name and email on the form because you are te logged in user!
If the user is not logged in he will see a blank input field (text box);
