Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Wondering if there is a way to override the contact form when displayed in a module position. What I'm looking for is a horizontal layout like below.

Name: [ Input] Email: [input] Phone: [Input] SEND-button

Dear d2drummer,

It is possible.

Please following these instructions:
1. You have to edit every Form Field and under the General Parameters set the Width to 25% (if you use Bootstrap Choose the width type to Bootstrap first).
2. Create a Button Form Field type;
3. Create or edit an existing CSS Form Field type and add the following CSS rule. You might need to change the properly values a little bit in order to match your template styling... Also, you'll have to change the ID for your Button Form Field type:
#ce-cf-container-ID{margin-top:22px;margin-left:10px}
4. In the Component Options, under the Contact Form tab set Send copy to submitter to either Hide or Always.

Hi Douglas,
I was just looking for the same answer but it is quite an old post and the custom css code doesn't work for me on Joomla 4.

In my case I'm looking for is a horizontal layout like this:

Name: [Input] Phone: [input] Select Service: [Input] SEND-button

Please can you tell me the new custom css code?
