Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Incorrect product (CE LITE) appearing in extension updates

I have a subscription for CE PRO; however starting with the recent release if 3.7.2, my Extensions Update list shows "Contact Enhanced LITE".

I read the forums, and did as you suggested to others, by clearing the cache and then clicking Find Updates again. However, in my case this did not resolve the issue, and the LITE extension continues to appear.

It seems Joomla Update is not taking into consideration the Extra Query parameter when getting the updates.

We're investigating this issue and we'll get back to you as soon as we find a solution.

Dear djmelville,

Apparently Joomla Update is not longer using the Extra Query when checking for new versions. The Extra Query is now only used when updating. In the Extra Query parameter we keep the product id you subscribed to.

Anyway, we've changed our auto update software in order to work with the latest Joomla version.

Please clear the Update Cache, Find updates and now you'll see Contact Enhanced updates. It will no longer show which version (Lite, Plus or Pro) you are updating to, but it will update the correct package.

For the next releases we'll work on a way to display which exact extension (lite, plus or pro) you are upgrading.
