Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

I've gone through the API list to make sure everything is enabled and I reordered email cloak above the plugin because I saw it mentioned in another answer.

Dear Susanne,

I've tried to log in using the credentials provided, but I got the message:

Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.


PS: Please make sure you have a recent backup.

I'm sorry. I must have typed in the credentials incorrectly. Attaching credentials that I've checked this time.

I'm also getting an error when I create or modify a user:
Error Contact automatic creation failed because contact category is not set!

Dear Susanne,

1. In the browser's console I see this error:
Google Maps API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError developers.google.com/maps/doc...#referer-not-allowed-map-error
You can either remove the referrer URLs restriction OR make sure the domain is correct.

2. I've disabled the "User - CE Contact Creator" plugin, so you won't get that error message when you create or modify an user. If you do want the plugin enabled, then you must configure it accordingly to your needs.

For anyone else with the same problem, I had listed this as the referrer

websitename.com/*

And I needed to have listed it like this

*.websitename.com/*

So the referring part wasn't working correctly. Thanks so much for your help! I would never have found it.
