Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

I am not able to pass spam check

I have installed the SecurImage successfully and selected it in the Default captcha field in the Global configuration of Joomla.
SecurImage displays well on the User registration form.

However, I am unable to pass spam verification. Whatever I enter there I get either "The security token did not match. The request was aborted to prevent any security breach. Please try again." or "You failed the spam check. Please try again!"

What is the problem!

That's odd.
Which Joomla version are you using?
Inside the downloaded zip file, there are packages for different Joomla versions. Please make sure you installed the correct one.

The latest Joomla 3.9.9.

Another point: in the previous version of google captcha/recaptcha all failed logins were redirected to the default Login page. However, after securImage installation the system does not do that anymore.

Maybe something in the parameters?

Dear Zoran,

Can you provide a direct link to the form? If you want to keep it private you can use the Confidential BB tag or use the Support » Contact Form.

As for the second question, SecurImage plugin uses the Joomla Framework and just notifies the component that it didn't pass validation. The component is the one responsible for redirecting.

Dear Zoran,

I replied to you by email.

Do you have any other spam verification plugin in place? Not necessarily a captcha plugin.

The error message shown is not part of the SecurImage plugin. I suspect ánother plugin such as "EasyCalcCheck Plus" is installed and taking over the validation process.
