Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Unable to show recorded messages

Hi there,

I'm trying to show recorded messages from a specific form by using the menu item type "Contact Enhanced » Recorded Messages". I have several published recorded messages in the selected category, but still the page is displaying "No Message was found".

What am I doing wrong?

Dear Willem ,

Submitted messages usually contain sensitive or private data. Therefore, this menu option should be available for administrators and the form submitter only.

Dear blue_Shift,

I might not have been clear enough. I'll try again ;-)

Due to the fact that submitted messages usually contain private information (emails for example), the Front-end Recorded Messages will only be displayed to the user that submitted the form and only those recorded messages that are published.

I was expecting, logged in as a super admin, I would see a list of all submitted emails.

As per your request, I have implemented this feature. Now users with Edit Permissions will be able to view all submitted messages.
I'll release a new package with the latest changes by the end of the day.
