Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Error Multiple file uploads?

Is it possible that there is an error in the field "Multiple files"? The button has no function and no files can be selected and uploaded. This error occurs when Ajax is enabled.

When Ajax is disabled I get hieroglyphics. See screenshot. These characters are also the file "components/com_contactenhanced/layouts/form/field/file.php". Is this correct?

What can I do to fix the error? Or is there any quick solution or hint from you?

Dear Steve,

That's odd. I have just checked the file components/com_contactenhanced/layouts/form/field/file.php and I don't see these characters. Can you download the installation package and check whether you can see these characters there as well?

Is there any Javascript error in the Browser's console when the Ajax feature is enabled?
Can you provide a link to your form with the "Multiple Files" Form Field enabled (with Ajax)?

Hi Douglas,

thank you very much for your swift reaction. In the installation packages is the file also "broken".

I am very sorry, but i cant provide a link, beacuse iam working on a local upgrade installtion (J3 -> J4). I have checked the browser console and i cant see a javascript error. It shows "The character encoding declaration may be incorrect" (Firefox).

Is it possible to send me (or download) the file separatly, so that i can go on with my work for my customer? That would be very nice.
