Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

Also, most questions are already answered in our FAQ and in iFAQ and Contact Enhanced documentation pages.

Hi Douglas,

Using version 3.13.1 on Joomla 3.10.12. I know it's old, but I've not had time to upgrade this website to Joomla 4.x yet.

Visitors using my contact form get this error when they click Submit :
0 - There is an error while trying to get the xml could not find "<response>"

Any suggestions please?

Dear bcraigie,

There might be a problem with BotScout. Please go to Components > Contact Enhanced > Form Fields, edit the Email Form Field, and remove the "Botscout API Key" from the parameters.

There was a change in the BotScout API response that caused this issue. We had to add the option to follow redirects in the cURL settings and now it's working properly.

I'll include these changes in the next release.

Hi,
I'm with the CE 3.13.1 and still have this issue.
So we do not receive any demands.
In the meantime I've removed the Botscout API key as you recommend.
Joomla 3.10.12

I have just fixed the error in Contact Enhanced for Joomla 3 as well. I'll send the fix to your email and will update the download package later today or tomorrow.

Hi
just tried tu update to the last CE 3.14 pro with the whole package
But some errors occurs :
Alert
JInstaller: :Install: the file does not exist /home/[TMP]/install_65462bbadd687/install_65462bc055a85/composer.json
Plug-in To update : unable to copy files from source
Installing a package: there was an error installing the Update extension
Error
Package: error during installation

That said the installation seems ok but there's several version numbers that are not up to date in the extension manager like :

ContactEnhancedPRO Site PAckage 3.9.9 11-Sep-2019 IdealExtensios.com N/A

and lots of plugins version number not up to date at all

Just a comment but it's not important: the package itself still with 3.9.9
ContactEnhancedPRO Site Paquet 3.9.9
but maybe this is normal versioning for the package only (?)

Dear Greg,

The Package is just a container for all other extensions.

In Contact Enhanced for Joomla 4 and 5 this Contact Enhanced package is removed after installation, but I didn't do that for CE for Joomla 3. For now, you can just ignore the package version.
