Every time that you post a problem, PLEASE add the Joomla and the extension's versions and revisions (for example: Joomla 3.3.6, Contact Enhanced 3.3.5), PHP version and Server's Operating System. If you only manage only one site it is easier if you edit your profile and just add that information to your signature. Don't forget to add a detailed description of the problem. If possible, write down all steps to simulate the problem.

Before submitting a new post, PLEASE make sure you are running the latest version, test in different browsers (IE, FF, Chrome,..) and clear Joomla and browser's cache after every change you make.

In the mean time, i used the content map to exclude the form - but others may face this so something to think about in the middle of the night in the middle of your homeland's winter..

Hello blue_Shift,

After delving into the com_finder (Smart Search) source code, it appears that there isn't a built-in method to conceal the content plugin's shortcode, apart from resorting to Content Map.

Alternatively, you could explore the option of crafting an HTML template override to handle the content plugins. However, please be aware that this approach may introduce other complications, and there's a likelihood that the Search Result highlights may not function as expected.

I've taken the initiative to file a bug report with Joomla. Let's hope for a resolution in the upcoming release.
